Dr. Rippert is a Cardiologist with Bayhealth Heart & Vascular, P.A. After obtaining her Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from Ursinus College, she graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine as a Doctor of Osteopathy. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Osteopathic Medical Center of Philadelphia and Fellowship training at Graduate Hospital, also in Philadelphia.
Dr. Rippert has been in private practice since 1997 when she began practicing in Dover, Delaware. In 2006 she opened Bayhealth Heart & Vascular, P.A. in partnership with Dr. Vincent D. Abbrescia. At that time, and still to this day she remains the only female cardiologist in Kent County, DE.
Dr. Rippert has won many awards and honors including the Medical Society of Delaware’s Annual Young Physician Award and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine’s Teacher of the Year. She is on the medical staff at Bayhealth Medical Center, a Clinical Professor with Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and the Director of Medical Education at Bayhealth.
Dr. Rippert provides cardiology services for adults and geriatric patients. In her spare time she enjoys time with her family, playing field hockey and cheering on the Philadelphia Flyers.
