Dr. Spana recently completed a fellowship in robotic and advanced laparoscopic surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. He completed his urology residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. He has published in a variety of peer-reviewed journals and co-authored a book chapter on Renal Masses.
Dr. Spana’s areas of special interest are prostate, kidney, and bladder cancers, and kidney stones. He is skilled in minimally invasive procedures and in the use of the da Vinci robotic surgical system for urologic surgery. He is a member of the American Urologic Association, the American Association of Clinical Urologists, and the Endourological Society.
