Dr. Zaragoza received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1987. He completed his Residency in Urology at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor in 1993, following the completion of his surgical residencies at Eastern Virginia School of Medicine in Norfolk, Virginia, and the University of Michigan. He is a board certified urologist and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
He has practiced with Urology Associates of Dover since 1993. He is currently chief of the department of surgery at Bayhealth Medical Center, Kent General Hospital in Dover and serves as President of the Delaware Urological Society. He acts as a consultant to the Journal of Urology and is associate editor of The Delaware Medical Journal.
Dr. Zaragoza’s specialties lie in female urology and incontinence. He serves as the Medical Director of the Continence Center at Kent General Hospital in Dover, and has also served as a clinical preceptor to other urologists for Bard Contigen injections. Dr. Zaragoza also specializes in urologic oncology treatments, including brachytherapy (seed implants) and nerve sparing radical prostatectomy for prostate cancer.
