Bayhealth Heart & Vascular, a Bayhealth Medical Group practice, is a single specialty cardiology practice located in Dover, Delaware. The team includes Physicians Vincent D. Abbrescia, DO; Judith Rippert, DO; and Sanjeev Patel, MD; Physician Assistants Sydney Scott, PA-C; Kristen Anderson, PA-C; and Jacob Roberts, PA-C; and a wide array of highly skilled support staff. Dr. Rippert began practicing cardiology in 1997, Dr. Abbrescia began in 1999, and Dr. Patel has practiced since 2009. Each physician completed formal cardiac fellowship training at nationally recognized and accredited tertiary care medical centers and is board certified. They practice all aspects of clinical cardiology including treatment of cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and interventional cardiology. Bayhealth Heart & Vascular provides advanced subspecialty cardiology care in a compassionate and friendly office environment.
The practice provides a full spectrum of cardiovascular services. The physicians and physician assistants provide comprehensive consultative services as well as follow-up office visits five days a week. Onsite imaging includes nationally accredited Nuclear Cardiology, Echocardiography and Vascular Imaging Laboratories. The Arrhythmia Clinic provides comprehensive arrhythmia diagnostics for irregular heartbeats and management of pacemakers and defibrillators, as well as Holter monitoring, event loop recorders, and tilt table testing. The Coumadin Clinics provide Coumadin Management and education at both our Dover and Milford locations.
